Margie Omero is Executive Vice President of Public Affairs based out of the Washington, D.C. office.
A Democratic pollster and strategist with nearly 20 years’ experience, Margie is expanding PSB’s domestic political and policy work and strongly advocating the power of data-driven insight in communications campaigns for clients at both PSB and sister firm Burson-Marsteller.
Prior to joining PSB, Margie was Managing Director of Purple Insights, the research division of Purple Strategies, where she provided research and strategic communications advice to some of the world’s biggest brands. Margie was also Founder and President of Momentum Analysis, a boutique Democratic polling firm, serving non-profits, advocacy groups, and political candidates. Omero has been the Democratic lead and spokesperson for the ongoing, multi-year “Walmart Moms” project, bringing women’s voices into the political dialog and generating press around the country. Margie began her career at The Mellman Group, where she served as Vice President, Survey Director, and Analyst.
Margie appears often in major news outlets on television and in print, and hosts “The Pollsters,” a top-rated political podcast covering the top polling stories driving the week’s news in politics, technology, and pop culture. She has been named a “Politico to Watch” by Politico,” the “Rookie of the Year” by the American Association of Political Consultants, and a “Young Woman of Achievement” by the Women’s Information Network. She earned her undergraduate degree with high honors from the University of Texas at Austin.
