With more than a dozen years managing and consulting for some of the largest issue advocacy organizations in the country, Brett Schenker is regarded as one of the industry’s leading experts on email and deliverability. Schenker’s work has ranged from legislative activities, campaigns, and political action committees (PACs) to advising associations, nonprofits, and multi-million dollar corporations on technology solutions and email strategy.
Schenker is the Email Deliverability Specialist at EveryAction and NGP VAN, where he educates national nonprofits, associations, and labor unions about email best practices and future trends. He also provides support around reputation management, mitigating email blocks, and preventing other deliverability issues.
Schenker’s past experience has also included work as the Special Assistant for Senator John Kerry; as the Database Administrator for Mark Warner’s Forward Together PAC; Database Administrator for Chris Dodd for President; Internet/Database Director for Virginians for Brian Moran; the Email Deliverability Specialist for Salsa Labs; and as a legislative staffer for the Erie County Legislature.
Brett holds a degree in Political Science from the University at Buffalo. He is involved with the SUNY Washington Internship program, acting as a speaker and mentor to its students and has served on the Parature Inc. Technology Advisory Board and writes for the blog Graphic Policy.
