Daria Dawson is a 15-year veteran in democratic politics and the progressive movement. Most recently, she was a Senior Director at DSPolitical, where she advised consultants and political campaigns on the latest and best integration of data and technology to persuade audiences and deliver wins with the most efficient and effective platforms of digital advertising.
Her other stints include positions at the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) as the Deputy National Political Director and she’s also held positions at the American Federation for State County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) and an AFSCME affiliate, the Ohio Association for Public School Employees (OAPSE/AFSCME).
In addition to her work with labor unions, Daria has also worked on Capitol Hill as a Senior Policy Advisor for several Members of Congress and has congruently contributed to national and state campaigns including her tenure as Deputy GOTV Director in Florida for Hillary for America in 2016 and Deputy Political Director in Virginia for Obama for America in 2012.
Born and raised in Florida, Daria is a graduate of Florida A&M University and the University of Florida – Levin College Law. Daria also serves as a member of the Congressional Black Caucus PAC board and on the advisory board of Campaign Greenhouse.
